I was asked to make a Thank You Card for the residents, in the Nursing Home I work at as an Activities Assistant, for the Wyoming Govenor Matt Mead. He recently took time to come and visit the residents and was so polite and friendly to everyone! He spent a few hours taking time to visit with each one so we wanted to send him a special thank you.
I don't have any cowboy stamps or cartridges so my great friend Stacey cut this cowboy for me using paper doll dress-up at 3.
The cardstock and patterned paper are from her stash and she sent me extras to use. The "Thank You" is from Wild Card Cartridge cut at 12.35 on my Gypsy. I used Jute Twine from Hobby Lobby and did some distressing on the layers!
The cute face is of course, a Peachy Keen Everyday Faces.
Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Friday!!
Recently I was given two more Blog awards! :)

Isn't that nurse just the cutest? I made this Nurse for my mom who is a Licensed Practical Nurse/ Nurse Manager in the Nursing home I work at. Last week was National Nurses Week. I wasn't sure what to make her so I asked what she wanted and she said a magnet for her office. She loves the picture frame magnets so I made one of those.
I used Everyday paper dolls and cut my nurse, layers & accessories at 6in.
The paper is K&Co. The cardstock is Bazzill. I used the 1 1/8 Princess Faces from Peachy Keen Stamps.
The magnetic sheet is from walmart and I cut two, one magnetic sheet and one cereal chipboard to reinforce it. I used stickers from Hobby Lobby to embellish it.

Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a great Saturday.
I made this card for our daughter to give to our son for his 8th birthday on Thursday. He loves cards! Especially when I make them for him! :)
I saw this challenge at Cooking With Cricut  to use Balloons and thought it would be perfect for this occasion. I let our daughter pick out the balloons and colors she wanted. She said the balloons had to "Be Happy!" haha!
Nothing like advice from a 4 year old!
I used the celebrate and the balloons from Once Upon a Princess cut at 2 3/4.
I hid the faces on my gypsy and used my Peachy Keen Faces that our daughter picked out.
I used baker's twine on the 'string' for the balloons. The paper is SU! Real Red and Pumpkin Pie. I also used DCWV Celebrations stack. I added some white eyelets and some doodles with my white gel pen.
Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out the fun challenge at Cooking with Cricut!
Have a wonderful Saturday!
